Starting this November, low and moderate income New Yorkers will be able to get comprehensive health care at a significantly more affordable cost. The Essential Plan (EP) covers all major medical needs and is only available through the NY State of Health Marketplace. Even if you already have health insurance, such as a Qualified Health Plan from the Marketplace, you may still be able to enroll as long as you meet the requirements.
