On November 8th New York voters have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to vote for clean water protections, better infrastructure, more parks and a better quality of life, throughout the state, by voting YES on Prop 1, The Clean Water, Clean Air, and Green Jobs Bond Act.
The Bond Act (Prop 1)
- Protects drinking water (preventing contamination, runoff, and pollution)
- Updates critical infrastructure (replacing lead pipes, upgrading sewers, fixing roads, retrofitting buildings, and expanding clean energy)
- Supports nearly 100,000 good local jobs
- Conserves natural resources (adding and improving green spaces and parks, protecting forests and lakes, improving wildlife habitats)
- Improves public health (funding clean school buses, community gardens, green roofs, and life-saving cooling centers during heatwaves)
