Following the success of the 2013 summits, HEP led a coalition in organizing seven statewide enrollment summits prior to open enrollment that begins mid-November. Stakeholders will meet to share experiences and lessons learned, strategize, and make plans to collaborate to reach as many uninsured as possible.

Navigators, brokers, CACs, hospital systems, faith-based organizations, county health departments, unions, health plans, community organizations and others are encouraged to attend to discuss lessons learned from the previous year of enrollment, and share new ideas and strategies for collaboration to reach the maximum number of uninsured without a duplication of efforts. The summits are being held in cooperation with New York State of Health, the state’s health insurance marketplace.

Sept. 12: Capital District/Northern NY

Sept. 22: Nassau/Suffolk (Long Island)

Sept 30: Queens (NYC)

Sept 30: Binghamton (Central New York)

Oct 1: Fishkill (Hudson Valley)
