On October 1st, 2013, NY State of Health, The Official Health Plan Marketplace (formerly known as the New York Health Benefit Exchange) will begin enrolling individuals and small businesses into health insurance plans. Health advocacy groups, navigators, community groups, hospitals and health care institutions, unions, brokers, health plans, and small business representatives are all encouraged to come to learn the latest about NY State of Health, hear about best practices and plan on a regional level.

Following the Statewide Summit, eight regional enrollment summits will be held in New York State: one each in Albany, Buffalo, mid-Hudson, Rochester, Syracuse, Long Island, and two in New York City. Local groups should come to the summit that covers your region. Statewide groups are urged to send their local affiliates.
